In Canaanite Land
These series of works illustrate an imaginative fictional tale from the time of the ancient. A nostalgic journey or a reimagining of an ancient landscape. Aiming to imitate an archaeological finding or an artifact dug from the ground, I employ various techniques such as multiple firings, textured clay and layered glaze materials. These works are playful. A space in between, where history becomes fictional and ancient becomes contemporary.
