Canaanite Vessels
This series of work evokes a nostalgic tale of ancient times. Reflecting on a cultural journey of the Canaan land of Israel, my work refers to both, history and fantasy, fusing reality with fiction. Through a playful use of form, complex surfaces and unexpected colour relationships, the pieces appear as if they have been dug from the ground suggesting an antiquity, yet embodying the contemporary.
