It wasn’t incidental that the first ceramic sculpture I ever created was a horse as for me it symbolises the connections to basic nature; pure, bold and invigorating. As my work evolved throughout the years I found that my joy of music and dance has been portrayed through the horses, adding a humanised and playful element to their appearance. I have been continually drawn to revisit its form, forever evolving through the theme or technique I am exploring.
